While Communications Assistant and later Communications Manager at this high-profile practice, I dealt with all publicity and public relations matters, including exhibitions, lectures, awards and publications in addition to developing the profile of the company through strategic and general marketing activities.

Copy writing, editing and proof-reading, co-ordination of print design and production, commissioning of architectural photography, events management and the formative planning of the practice website and Phaidon publication ‘Equilibrium – the work of Nicholas Grimshaw and Partners’, were also key roles. I liaised with the British Council, Design Council and Arts Council of England on several exhibitions.

Key achievements included elevating the early profile of the now acclaimed Eden Project, Cornwall and exhibition management of the international travelling industrial design exhibition ‘Fusion’.

Fusion won a Red Dot Award and achieved international acclaim. I coordinated all elements of the tour in the UK and in Europe including its transportation, insurance, the sourcing of venues, liaison with Press and TV and exhibition sponsors, on-site installation and the opening-night events.
