Freelance Writer/Editor in the Global Marketing and Communications department (GMC) at Arup creating content for a number of ad hoc writing projects. This included a global corporate brochure, web copy, global award entry, global Sports brochure and DETAIL magazine Arup special issue. A key aspect of my role was to champion the Arup verbal brand across all communications, and tease out the value story behind the work to demonstrate its impact on the built environment, communities and environment.
I also helped devise the programme and created content for the Global Buildings Forum, held in Amsterdam. Working in collaboration with the Foresight and Innovation team, we devised a programme that would bring the global leaders of the Practice together to share ideas. Over the two-day event they undertook interactive workshops, learnt from a number of prominent thought-leaders in the field brought in as speakers, and discussed the strategic future of the Practice.
