As the Senior Project Manager at this branding and design consultancy in Sydney, Australia, I supervised a team of three designers and one administrator. My primary role was to plan, monitor, execute and ensure successful completion of all design and communications projects in the office.
I was largely the first point of contact for all our clients, liaising with them to take briefs, developing ideas with the design team and then ensuring that all projects were managed smoothly on-time and on-budget. I was also responsible for the day-to-day scheduling of work through the studio, creating fee proposals and developing the profile of the company through general and targeted marketing activities, including press, PR and awards entries.
In consultation with the Directors my remit also extended to involvement with the company’s strategic development, researching and bringing in new business. Clients included SJB Architects, Bates Smart Architects, Hassell, Orient Express Hotels, Australian Radio Network, MLC Centre, amongst others.
